6-8 centimeters (in captive breeding environments)
Siamese fighting fish (Betta splendens) usually have a body length of 6-8 centimeters under captive breeding conditions. Wild individuals are slightly smaller, approximately 5-6 centimeters. In a few special cases, captive-bred individuals may reach a length of 10 centimeters.

Comparison with Chinese fighting fish
Chinese fighting fish have a wider range of body lengths. After reaching adulthood, they can grow up to 5-10 centimeters, generally longer than Siamese fighting fish.
Influencing factors
The breeding environment (such as water temperature and space) and nutritional conditions may affect the final body length.
Male fish may appear larger visually due to their well-developed fins.
