Betta fish don't require a filtered fish tank. Due to their unique labyrinth organ structure, betta fish are able to survive in low-oxygen environments, so they don't need filtration equipment. Also, they don't like a strong water current. A too strong water current will affect the stretching of their tails and fins.

The Raising Conditions for Betta Fish
Water Quality: Tap water can be used for betta fish, but it needs to be left in the sunlight for two days first to remove the chlorine. The water temperature should be maintained between 20 and 35°C. In winter, you can use a radiator or a heating pad to keep the water warm.
Feeding: Feed the betta fish twice a day, about eight pellets of fish food each time.
Water Change: Change about one-third of the water every three days or so. Use a straw to siphon the bottom of the tank and then add fresh water.
Community Keeping: Betta fish are aggressive, so it's not recommended to keep them with other fish species. However, you can try adding more than three docile small fish, such as zebrafish, neon tetras, etc.
